Here's a flavour of what our online Justice Based Approach learning journey looks like! This video was made during our November/December 2020 online course where 170 participants from 38 countries come together to lead, innovate and inspire change. "This is so much more than your average online course. It's brilliantly put together. The team have gone the extra mile to make sure there is energy, interaction, reflection and learning in a way I've not seen in any other course before - either online or in-person."
  • 2020 course participant
We have packed the course with a huge range of delivery methods to ensure participants are always engaged and learning effectively: Live participatory online sessions | Interactive online learning tools | Small team discussions | Online forum | 1-2-1 with Facilitators | Self-led learning and reflection | Facilitator Q&As | 10+ optional group events such as networking, film screenings, weekly regional reflections and panel discussions With a Justice Based Approach, we reflect on why -- after 25 years of rights-based approaches -- inequality, environmental destruction, oppression, and impunity are bigger challenges than ever before. • Evidence-based decision-making
  • Participatory approaches
  • System analysis
  • Localization and decolonizing aid
  • Rights-based programming
  • Monitoring and evaluation for learning
  • Ethical programming and accountability
  • Climate and gender mainstreaming
We also explore a number of innovative and exciting alternative approaches to social and environmental change that you can apply to your work. The course will challenge you, inspire you and give you the tools to support communities and partners to lead change that is truly transformative.
