York Man Jailed for Murder Ian Franklin, 33, has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 21 years for the fatal stabbing of Gregory Marshall in York. Prosecuted by Rupert Doswell KC and Jane Brady, Franklin was convicted after a complex eight-week trial involving contested video, audio, and DNA expert evidence.
