A once-in-a-lifetime experience for seriously ill children is about to take off!

Thanks to our amazing partner Virgin Australia, an incredible experience for six budding pilots and aviation superstars is ready to take flight.

Virgin Australia will be treating six seriously ill children and their families, to a special training day at Aviation Australia, the Virgin Australia Training Centre and Brisbane Airport.

The young stars (meet them below!) will learn all about the training procedures, how to land a plane in the flight simulator, emergency training, and the all-important action in the cabin including a lolly trolly service and in-flight announcements!

At Brisbane airport, families will experience a special behind-the-scenes tour. Starlight kids and families will then “earn their wings” with a special Virgin Australia badge showing they are ready to fly!
