X-ray Computed Tomography (XCT) is reshaping how manufacturers observe and analyse components. From miniaturised features to complex multi-material designs, the inside matters more than ever. For complex high-performance manufacturing, XCT is becoming a critical non-destructive tool for internal validation and dimensional accuracy. At our latest Manufacture Measurement Network event, we partnered with the experts at the National Facility for XCT (NXCT) and STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory to explore how XCT is accelerating precision, reliability and innovation across UK manufacturing. What we learned: ✅ XCT is a powerful manufacturing tool ✅ Metrology for XCT presents a significant industry challenge with a clear need for advancement ✅ A connected network of XCT providers is key to meeting the diverse needs of end users Thank you to everyone who joined the workshop and contributed to shaping the future of measurement in manufacturing! Join the MMN and be the first to know about workshops, networking events and opportunities to engage with leading NPL scientists and engineers who can help you navigate your measurement challenges > https://lnkd.in/eCBWh4Wv #XCT #ComputedTomography #AdvancedManufacturing Eleanor Merson David Gorman
