Team Lead, Canada at Envoy Global | Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant | Providing expert advice to guide businesses and their employees to success in Canadian immigration and compliance matters

Immigration strategy and the ability for businesses to meet critical timelines for deliverables may be impacted if Canada's recent proposed amendments to the Immigration Regulations around the introduction of mandatory language testing for some work permit applications under the International Mobility Program is passed. If approved, third-party language testing may soon be required, even for visa-exempt applicants. This has not been confirmed yet (nor any indication provided of possible exemptions in certain situations), but employers should be aware of potential implications if this is implemented, and consider planning ahead.    🔗 Read the full update from Envoy Global and stay ahead of upcoming potential changes: https://lnkd.in/g3yXDtt8

Immigration Director Ireland - Envoy Global

Are you moving employees temporarily to Ireland? You might be missing a critical compliance step. In recent months, two major corporate clients approached our Ireland team at Envoy Global with the same challenge: They were transferring employees between the UK, Germany, and Ireland — carefully managing business visas, A1 social security forms, and tax considerations — but had no idea they also needed to file a Posted Worker notification with the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC). This is a common blind spot for employers, and non-compliance can lead to penalties and complications for both companies and employees. Our team guided both clients through the process, ensuring full compliance and helping them maximise their workers’ time in-country without unnecessary risk. To help raise awareness, we’ve created a practical guide for employers on navigating Posted Worker requirements in Ireland. 👉 Read the full guide here: https://lnkd.in/e9f2zQkB If your organisation is moving employees into (or out of) Ireland, don’t overlook this requirement.
