Our staff have been busy this Mental Health Awareness Week! On Wednesday, 23 of the team participated in a lunchtime walk to raise money during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek across both London and Edinburgh offices and were joined by four fabulous SANE volunteers. We were glad the haar lifted in Edinburgh and the sun shone in London. In the process, we raised £500 for SANE, one of the charities the Artemis Charitable Foundation supports: https://www.sane.org.uk #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #Charitysupport

A huge thank you to mental health personal trainer, Dan Hancock, for coming in to our Edinburgh office this week to talk to us about the science behind exercise and its benefits on mental health. Dan gave us some fascinating insights into why exercise can be 1.5 times more effective at treating depression, stress and anxiety than medication or therapy. An initiative worth spreading! 🌱 For Mental Health Awareness Week, SANE joined long-time supporters Artemis Investment Management on a lunch walk for mental health taking part from their offices in London and Edinburgh. This year’s #MHAW theme is movement, and we took the chance to do so at Green Park! 🍃 We enjoyed the beauty of nature and had meaningful conversations about the importance of mental health in the workplace. Plus, we shared exciting updates on SANE’s efforts to support those who need it most. 💚 Make the most of the sunshine, step away from your desk, and enjoy a mental health walk. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MHAW #MHAW24

A great webinar yesterday, delivered by Cormac Weldon and Olivia Micklem CFA. Thank you to all that attended. Notably, Cormac described the resilience of the US economy and the support this is lending to equity markets, whilst Olivia highlighted the valuation opportunity in US smaller companies, currently trading at a considerable discount to their larger peers. To hear more, or if you couldn’t join, the webcast is available as a recording. We post all our upcoming webinars here and on our website https://lnkd.in/eSVsDxWT Capital at risk. Five of our colleagues volunteered their time at Cyrenians' Fareshare depot in the Leith area of Edinburgh yesterday, packing food orders for distribution to community centres across the city. Cyrenians is one of the Artemis Charitable Foundation's longstanding charities, tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness. The support the charity offers is person-centred and relationship-based, helping those who need support to gain employment and reconnect with their community. The charity has established a partnership with Fareshare, redistributing food that would usually end up in landfill to more than 120 charity partners across Edinburgh, including food banks, schools and community groups.
