This morning, we reported GE Vernova’s second quarter 2025 results and raised our 2025 financial guidance. We had a productive quarter and delivered strong results, positioning us well to continue to accelerate our growth and margin expansion from here. In Power, strength in demand continued as our Gas Power equipment backlog and slot reservation agreements grew from 50 to 55 gigawatts. In addition, we saw solid services demand growth in Gas Power as well as in Steam Power in support of nuclear extensions and upgrades. In Wind, profitable equipment volume in Onshore Wind was more than offset by continued fleet investments and Offshore Wind costs. In the U.S., customer engagement is increasing with the signing of the tax bill in July, and we've had encouraging wins in international markets like Romania, Australia, Japan, Spain and Germany. In Electrification, strong demand for grid equipment continued as we grew our equipment backlog by $2 billion sequentially, with growth in Europe, North America, and Asia. We are leveraging lean and moving at pace to navigate the current dynamic environment while investing in growth and innovation. This month, we announced an incremental 250 new jobs and $80 million investment to manufacture critical grid technologies in Pennsylvania, part of the $100 million in investments we are planning in the state over the next two years. We also announced the acquisition of Alteia, an AI and visualization technology that helps our Electrification Software business customers manage and orchestrate the grid. I am proud of our #GEVernova employees around the world who are dedicated to delivering for our customers and creating value for our stakeholders. We are at the beginning of an investment supercycle into more reliable baseload power, grid infrastructure and decarbonization solutions. Island tourism is booming, and it’s changing more than just your vacation plans. 🏖️ From the Greek Isles to Puerto Rico, remote destinations are welcoming a record-breaking number of travelers. But behind the sun and sand lies a growing challenge: strained local power grids. #PuertoRico faces the classic energy trilemma of trying to grow and expand available electricity supply while choosing solutions that are both affordable and more sustainable.
