Overview
The workshop will provide lectures and case studies applicable to all major diseases encountered in everyday practice including early pregnancy, acute and chronic gynaecology.
We will focus on early pregnancy complications, adnexal pathology, uterine pathology, 3D ultrasound and non-invasive diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis, including assessment of the bowel and urinary tract.
Lectures will be given by gynaecologists who are leaders in their field who all have a extensive experience in the use of ultrasound to improve the diagnosis and management of common and rare conditions for their patients.
Objectives
- To understand how advanced ultrasound techniques can transform the patient pathway and optimise management.
- To develop an understanding of recent progress in advanced ultrasound techniques as applied to common disease
- To gain an understanding of the research evidence base for the use of ultrasound in gynaecology
