The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control says marijuana sales throughout the state topped $242 million by the end of 2024.
State officials say over 4 million units of non-medical marijuana product have been manufactured as well as 32,487 pounds of plant material.
In the first reporting date of the new year, another $13 million in recreational sales have been done.
As of Jan. 4, the state is reporting a total over $255 million in sales.
Dispensaries also note the industry is only going to get bigger in the state as time goes on, especially if new rules - which would allow them to sell more products, get approved.
