Award-Winning Architecture at Queen’s Business School! We are thrilled to share that the Student Hub at Queen’s Business School has been named one of the winners of the RIBA National Awards 2025 – a prestigious recognition of architectural excellence across the UK! Designed by the brilliant team at TODD Architects Ltd., this is the second major accolade for the building in just a few months, following its title as Northern Ireland’s Building of the Year 2025 by The Royal Society of Ulster Architects. What makes this achievement even more special is the building’s commitment to sustainability: 🌱 BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating 🌞 Solar panels and geothermal heating 🌍 Over 60% reduction in carbon emissions 🕊️ ‘Swift bricks’ to support endangered bird species 🌳 Harmoniously integrated into the mature woodland of the Stranmillis Conservation Area This is more than just a beautiful space to learn and work – it’s a symbol of how we’re embedding sustainability into everything we do at Queen’s, from our operations to our values. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this visionary project to life! Queen’s Business School continues to rise in student satisfaction! For the third year in a row, Queen’s has seen an increase in our overall student satisfaction rate in the National Student Survey (NSS)—a clear sign that our students are having their most positive experience yet. 📈 Across Queen’s, every faculty achieved over 80% positive feedback, and QBS is proud to be part of that upward trend. "I’m incredibly proud of these results, which reflect the commitment and expertise of staff and the honest, engaged feedback of our students, who are clearly seeing the difference we’re making. It’s especially encouraging to see real gains in the areas that matter most to students, from academic support to assessment and feedback.” — Professor Judith Williams, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students 👉 Read more https://lnkd.in/eVf2YDPS #LoveQBS #LoveQUB #NSS2025 #StudentSatisfaction #ProudToBeQBS

Celebrating the next chapter for our graduates! 🎓✨ Meet Ellie McKibbin, a recent BSc Business Management graduate. Ellie chose Queen’s University for its strong academic reputation and the chance to be part of a vibrant, welcoming community. “My time at Queen’s has shaped who I am in so many ways. One of the standout modules for me was Venture Start-Up. Alongside friends from my course, we developed a business idea aimed at tackling violence against women through educational street art in schools. It was a meaningful project that gave me invaluable insight into the entrepreneurial journey from idea generation to implementation.” Ellie was also part of the QUB 2025 InnovateHer cohort, where she developed a business plan and connected with inspiring industry leaders. These experiences helped prepare her for her next exciting step joining SistersIN as Programme Administration Coordinator, supporting schoolgirls across Northern Ireland. Congratulations, Ellie - we’re so proud of all you’ve achieved, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! 💫

🌍🐎 Celebrating a Global First for Queen’s Business School! We’re thrilled to mark a major milestone in our international engagement — the first cohort of Queen's Business School students to attend the Narxoz Summer School Global Immersion Programme in Almaty, Kazakhstan! Over two weeks, five of our students immersed themselves in a rich blend of academic learning and cultural discovery at SEM, Narxoz University. From thought-provoking lectures on sustainable tourism and international conflict resolution to hands-on workshops using the Lego® Serious Play® method, the programme offered a truly global classroom experience. Beyond the lecture halls, students explored the vibrant city of Almaty, witnessed traditional Kazakh horseback battle re-enactments, and ventured into the breath taking landscapes of Charyn Canyon and Kaindy Lake. Even when faced with unexpected challenges, our students demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and compassion — returning home with new friendships, global perspectives, and memories to last a lifetime. This programme is more than a summer school — it’s a testament to the growing partnership between Queen’s Business School and Narxoz University, including our joint double degree programmes and shared commitment to global learning. Together, we are building bridges across borders and shaping the next generation of international leaders. A heartfelt thank-you to our colleagues at SEM, Narxoz University for their warm hospitality and to everyone who made this experience possible. Here's to many more successful collaborations! Thanks to Alethea Bleyberg AMAHEP, International Student Advisor, QBS, for providing the content and pictures. #NarxozUniversity #QueensUniversityBelfast #QBS #SummerSchool #GlobalLearning #StudentMobility #StudyAbroad #Kazakhstan #InternationalEducation #PartnershipsInAction
