Farm for the Future
Our Farm for the Future programme has now closed.
Farm for the Future, our free business and environment programme, has now ended. Funded by Defra’s Farming Resilience Fund, it helped farmers in England tackle challenges and grasp the opportunities on offer linked to the agricultural transition. Including a one-to-one meeting with a farm consultant, our locally-delivered programme took a whole farm and family approach to help farmers:
- Understand more about current policy changes and how they will affect their farm business.
- With tools and advice to help make changes to their business.
- Understand how they can practically improve the management of their farmed environment.
Over three years, we delivered a flexible and engaging programme of workshops, online learning, signposting, one-to-one support, peer networking, and learning to groups of farms in 17 locations across England, as well as a virtual group.
